SERVICE RIFLE CLINIC ( Outdoor classroom reserved 1/30 )

Outdoor class will be reserved January 30th. for this Clinic.
One-day clinic that introduces shooters to the sport of Service Rifle competition. Participants should have a basic knowledge of firearms safety and some experience shooting a rifle before taking this course. A good 100 yard zero with your rifle is necessary.
Clinic taught by CMP GSM Certified Master Instructor, and coached by CMP and NRA classified service rifle Competitors.
Students will be taught about the sport of service rifle competition, firearms and safety, aspects of legal rifles, equipment used in this sport, the fundamentals of marksmanship, how how to build shooting positions, use of a sling and how to to fire a service rifle match.
Clinic includes classroom instruction and on range, coached, dry and live fire.

A rifle for competition, eligible rifles are:
AR-15, M1A (M14), M1 Garand, M1 carbine, 1903, other vintage military rifles. (If you don’t have one of these rifles but would like to attend contact. email@example.com for alternatives) These items will be available to borrow, but bring them if you have them: Sling-Web or 1907. Empty chamber indicator (safety flag). Spotting scope and stand.
ELIGIBILITY: Class is open to adults, and juniors 12 years of age and older. (with adults).
FEES: $25 for members, $35 for non-members.
