Berm maintenance is finished!! (for now :-) ) A little more clean up tomorrow and the ranges are open.

Had a couple of equipment breakdowns, so we're a little behind schedule but - rifle range is almost finished and
we're starting on pistol range today, so should still be usable within a week or so.

Construction is proceeding at the fastest possible pace. We
have three heavy machines working on the rifle range today.
they will be on the pistol range next week.

The silhouette range is no more it will become the 200 meter rifle range 6 positions wide. We have the heavy equipment until Monday week.
Pistol and Rifle will both be shooting by then.
Members will have to understand the ranges will be safe to shoot but will not be total complete.
Saturday members can start shooting on pistol range at 4pm,
Sunday shooting starts at 3pm. Monday and Tuesday the pistol range will be closed all day.

Things are changing quickly. A bull dozier was working today and
a track hoe will be added tomorrow. Construction schedules are
also changed.
Pistol range will be closed until next Tuesday or Wednesday. At that time members can shoot all day.
The pistol range will be extended 100 feet to the right and the
50 yard back stop will become a 25 yard backstop. We will end
up with 25, 15 and 7 yard shooting distances.
Rifle range will follow a few days later.

Rifle and Silhouette ranges will be closed while new back berms are being built.
Feb. 14, 2011
Rifle range will be closed 14th - 18th for installation of the 50/100 yard divider and drainage pipes.
Feb. 11, 2011
As everyone has noticed the drainage construction has started. Quite a bit of preliminary work is almost completed. In the next few weeks there will be intermittent closures of the rifle and silhouette ranges. These closures will try to be limited to Monday-Thursday, leaving the ranges available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
